Once your system is secured the automated level goes to work keeping your site updated and monitoring for abusive behaviours. By logging in to your Wordpress admin area you will find that all components are up-to-date ( a major security and performance requirement) and that this has happened without any effort on your part.
You will get a regular summary report providing information on what WP-Guardian has done on your website over the last month.
If suspicious activities are detected we will respond and do whatever is required to mitigate an attack. We will advise you that a serious event has occurred and advise on the current status until the situation returns to normal.
If your website is compromised by malware or blacklisted we will repond promptly with appropriate action to restore and defend your website. You will be advised when this situation occurs. Normally we will pickup suspicious activity very early, but your may see signs before our monitoring tools detect problems.
Signs to look out for are;
- Threat notices appearing when you visit your website.
- Email recipients suddenly unable to recieve your email.
- High volume of bounce emails arriving in your mailbox.
If any of these situations arise, please notify the helpdesk immediately.
